In the coming months, Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) will be introduced for Qualtrics at Leiden University . MFA adds an extra layer of security on top of username and password. For each login to Qualtrics additional authentication is required
When?
On September 20, MFA will be implemented for employees and guests using Qualtrics. In the subsequent period, MFA will be gradually implemented for students. You will be informed about this by email.
What you should do
Have you set up MFA previously for business systems, Brightspace or other Educational systems? Then you don’t need to do anything.
If you haven’t done this yet please set up an additional authentication method in time:
- Go to Account Services
- Choose the tile ‘Multi Factor Authentication’ to set up MFA
